Glenfeadon House

Glenfeadon House is a beautiful georgian country house built in 1827 by Lord de Dunstanville Basset ,whose family lived at nearby Tehidy Park for nearly 700 years.Situated in a lovely quiet spot yet only a five minute level walk to the beach,pubs,historic harbour and all that Portreath has to offer.We are surrounded by beautiful walks whether on the the famous coast paths with panoramic views of the sea or woodland walks.Tehidy park golf coarse is only a mile away,and we also have a cycle path in the village.Portreath also offers a perfect base from which to explore Cornwall. Our self catering apartments have been refurbished to a very high standard. Poldark has 2 bedrooms ,both ensuite and an open plan living -dining-kitchen. Trelissick is a 2 storey apartment with 2 bedrooms, family bathroom ,kitchen diner ,large lounge and decked patio with barbeque and table and chairs.
Both apartments are available for mid week or weekend breaks and tariffs include all bed linen,towels,electricity,central heating etc.

One of the delights of Fountain Springs is its peace and tranquillity and the gardens are no exception.Guests are welcome to make use of the gardens ( at their own risk ) to sit and read or just explore the 1.5 acres.We have a fish pond with fountain and a small river running through the garden on its way to the sea.Tables and chairs are provided for those summer evenings.Please note the gardens are not open from October to March.
